Then we help you by creating compelling visual design, clear messaging, fresh content, and provide technical support, and search engine optimization, along with recommendations how you can do yourself if you wish. We can also train/support your marketing staff in implementing smart strategies.
All of this is done with reported analytics and your operational and digital preferences needs in mind.

Contact us for a consultation. Initial consultations can also serve as task or Q&A about your DIY website work, so come prepared to get things done. We treat all initial consultations as an opportunity to see if we’d to work together in the future, and to review basic digital needs to generate a custom job quote.

What can you do for my business?
EMWeb provides custom visual web design, copy-writing support, site organization recommendations and technical execution of all aspects of registering and launching your business on the web. This can include logo design, site/link organization, coding, and development of primary marketing message. Please let me know what you need, and we’ll go from there.
Do you do website re-design and/or maintenance?
Yes, I provide this service for existing clients, and occasionally can help with maintenance for new clients. I charge an hourly rate for all website maintenance work.
Can you register my domain for me?
I can help you make this happen in a way that you are owner and primary administrator, and if you like, set up url forwarding, basic email forwarding and/or a website among other standard services. Job quotes provided after our initial consultation.
What is solar hosting? Why use it?
I can connect you to solar hosting via a great company in California. What this means is that your site files will be available 24/7 on an eco-friendly hosting server powered by the sun. I can help you set up your hosting plan, and help you manage it. Again, this means professional, personal management at a price similar to (and often lower) than do-it-yourself plans. Your savings is in time, expertise and energy.
What is your background/specialty?
Fine arts, hospitality, and event planning, and for the last 25 years or so, this has included, web design and Internet marketing. My first web design experiences were in securing great page rank for my clients, enabling them to sell their goods and services to the widest market at a cost much, much, much lower than equivalents in print media.
As an artist, I like to make sure everything looks good too. I am also attuned to ways to simplify your website’s organization, making it easy for your website visitors to find what they need and streamline your operation’s staff time on answering questions and providing customer service.
Why should I use you and not a larger firm?
Personalized service, direct contact with a person who can help you with digital marketing questions, and training on how to update your website yourself (if you choose this option). I also think there is an intangible value to working with a real-live human being who cares about your success… After all, I work off of referrals, and need for you to be happy and have success with your website to keep myself employed.
What about “do it yourself” websites like Wix on GoDaddy, or other services?
I only recommend these to people who enjoy learning new things, have some graphic design/photo or image editing experience and are willing to put in the time to make it work. These services are kind of like “make your own furniture” kits. The quality of the result is in direct relationship to the quality of the starting materials, and patience and expertise in putting it together. Sometimes these services provide the equivalent of a “Happy Meal” and what you really need is rich, home made gourmet dinner. Your business goals will determine if you can afford to experiment with a ‘kit’ or if you need a professional. Please also see notes on site ownership below.
Will I own my website? or do you?
Unlike many of these do it yourself website development services, I put together a website for you, with custom graphic files, design files and expert tags that upon completion of project and payment, you own outright (as long as invoices are paid in full). This means you can move these files and domain as you wish. You are not under any obligation to continue with EMWeb — unlike those website “services” that actually lease you back your own site as long as you continue to pay the monthly fees.
Can I change my registrar or hosting?
Yes, I can help you transfer your domain from EMWeb management to your preferred registrar. Your (paid for) domain and website are yours, and you are free to change webmasters/registrars at any time. I hope to provide such comprehensive, hassle-free and value-rich services that you will continue to renew hosting and maintenance with me. But if you get a chance to have a relative or friend manage your site for you for free, who am I to prevent that great deal!?
How do I get started?

To get the most out of your first consultation, I need to know the nature of your good or service, your preferred domain, any you should have handy any key logins in case you need to trouble-shoot something (I can help), and we can talk about marketing materials you may already have in place (logos, brochures, social media, etc.). All of this will help me to talk with you more intelligently about your unique project needs. It is also helpful to look around and bookmark websites you love, and don’t like, as a great starting point in our consultation.Again, your first consultation can be a work meeting. After this, if we wish to work together, I can draw up a written development proposal and contract that addresses your needs and budget. You can take what you learned as a tool of organization and/or comparison while you talk with other Internet marketing companies.
Can I pay my deposit/invoice/renewal by credit card?
Yes, I now accept all major credit cards via PayPal. All you need to do is go to my contact page and enter amount and your name and Pay Pal will walk you through the rest. This is a secure online processing service.
